A short course in visual storytelling, reading, and interpretation
Graphic novels combine words and images to tell stories in rich and layered ways. They develop many of the same skills as traditional texts — character, theme, structure, and interpretation — but make the process of reading more visible and accessible.
For many students, this creates a powerful sense of success and engagement, particularly for those who benefit from a more visual or structured approach.
